An unmarked vintage teddy bear. The golden, jointed, soft filled bear with clear glass eyes with black pupils, vertically stitched black nose with black stitched claws, measures approximately 41 cms in height. The bear has a small hole at neck were stitching has undone, and shows large areas of balding, otherwise appears to be in Fair - Good, and obviously well loved condition overall. Vintage Teddy Bears - 2 large straw filled vintage Teddy Bears dating to about 1947. Bears come with a picture of themselves with their owner as a child in 1947. Both bears are jointed with stitched noses and paws. Largest bear (approx 50 cm long, wears a cream ribbon bow) has some stitching to inside upper left leg. Smaller bear (approx 46 cm long) has a very small hole in left leg foot pad, some very neat repair work to his right foot paw, and a little thinning of fur mostly to rear areas.
