A gentleman's 18ct yellow gold Rolex Oyster perpetual day-date wristwatch, the circular face with fluted bezel, enclosing champagne coloured diamond set dial, with baguette cut diamonds at 6 and 9 o'clock, day aperture at 12 o'clock, date aperture at 3 o'clock, gilt hands and centre sweep seconds, coronet monogram to the winding crown, on an integral 18ct gold President bracelet numbered '8385', 35mm face, 38mm including winding crown, gross weight 141.38gms, all within original box containing official chronometer certification, red seal fob, green Rolex tag, and Day-Date operating manual. Please note: the back of the watch has not been opened for inspection of the movement CONDITION REPORT: Your attention is drawn to our important notice regarding Trevanion & Dean's sale of watches found in our Terms & Conditions, please read this prior to bidding. This watch was purchased by the vendor approximately between 1989-1991. The watch is currently ticking, the date aperture alternates a full 31-day rotation, hands happily rotate and day aperture changes when hands rotate. The clasp appears in very good condition with impressed marks still crisp and vivid. The bracelet appears in good condition with only minor light surface scratches. The lugs and case sides show some signs of wear and blemishes (photographed) but generally ok. The bezel appears in good condition with no concerning issues. The crystal appears relatively unscratched. The crystal edges bear some but few very tiny nicks which are rather difficult to see with the naked eye and are not hugely concerning. Winding crown functions. This watch has not seen every-day use.
A pair of Chinese bronze elephant incense burners, 19th century, each modelled as an elephant with raised trunk and supporting a detachable two tiered pagoda with dragon terminals, each elephant dressed for procession with one featuring descending tassels, each lacking tails, 46.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Each elephant lacking tail and bear circular cast marks to undersides. Surface wear and general abrasions visible to each. Construction appears crude. Each pagoda lacking tassels. Casting imperfections visible to each especially to legs and undersides. Tassels to one elephants rug all present but rather fragile. One pagoda missing a lug which secures it to the elephant. Please see additional images for clarification.

A 9ct gold charm bracelet with a large quantity of charms, the curb link bracelet with padlock catch and safety chain, Birmingham hallmarks for 9ct gold, 1961, suspending 28 charms many of which are hallmarked, including an aeroplane, a donkey and cart, an articulated teddy bear, a highland dancer and a Swiss chalet; length 18.5cm, gross weight 129g The bracelet has appropriate to age wear and scuffs, the clasp a little more so, especially round the pivot, though it is otherwise in good working order.The charms are:-a log cabin, a straw boater with part enamelled ribon, a maple leaf, a part enamelled seahorse, a mangle, a teddy, a highland dancer, a monkey, beer stein, open-topped car, swan, opening garage with moving car, row of Dutch houses, vacuum cleaner, fish, pedalo, donkey & cart, Venetian gondola, ice skate, bear, Chinese character, bagpipes, St Christopher medallion, jet, cathedral, eastern boat, car lantern and clogs.
[EARLY 19TH CENTURY RELIGIOUS TRACTS]A small archive of late-Georgian and early-Victorian religious tracts, schoolbooks, etc., originally belonging to children of the Fludyer family of Ayston Hall, Rutland (many of the items bear the names of Mary Fludyer, Augusta Fludyer, and others). The collection includes approx 34 small religious tracts, stitched and in the original printed wrappers (circa 1830-1850, various printers, some tracts with woodcuts), children's books with coloured frontispieces by Kronheim, a number of Mrs Trimmer's 'Prints' books (late 18th - early 19th century), a couple of early 19thC manuscript religious notebooks, and various other loose stitched pamphlets.
