A mixed group comprising: the bow and foot of a small cruciform brooch; a hooked tag; an openwork bronze mount; an Urnes style strap end; an Anglo-Scandinavian harness mount; a stirrup mount of Class B with angled ledge; a mount fragment with facing bear-mask; a brooch pin with cranked finial; a square weight with three ring-and-dot motifs; a hollow beast-head finial; a beast-head strap end; four pin terminals, polyhedral and writhen types; three Anglo-Norman rectangular buckle plates with champ levé beasts; nine tongue-shaped strap ends with beast-head detailing; a Bronze Age(?) penannular ring. 201 grams total, 13-82mm (1/2 - 3 1/4"). Found Canterbury area, Kent, UK, 1980s.[28, No Reserve] Mainly fair condition.
Olympic Games Sapporo 1972. Official Mascot - Official mascot of the Olympic Winter Games in Sapporo 1972. The bobsleigh rider bear is a plastic savings box. There were four models of this mascot, all of which were numbered. This is number 3. The bear's head is moveable, complete size 10x4x9 cm. Extremely rare! Small signs of usage.
A resin figure of a bear, in the Black Forest manner, formed as a stick stand CONDITION REPORTS A significant chunk missing from the front rim of the dished area, various chips throughout and various moulding faults. A split to the back - possibly designed to resemble wood. General wear and scuffs and dirt.
A Staunton style chess set, housed in an early 20th Century oak cigarette box with plated cartouche and escutcheon CONDITION REPORTS All pieces have general wear. The Knights have some chips, and some other pieces have some chips. Four pieces bear a red crown mark (two Knights and two Castles). Box has general wear, knocks etc, conducive with age and use, the interior has been removed. Height of black king is approx 9.75cm, height of white king is approx 10cm. The white king is not marked and bears no makers mark. The undersides of all are covered in a bright green baize type material.
