Mid 20th century Yes/ No Teddy bear probably made in Germany by Schcuco, with lever (formerly a tail) that operates head turning mechanism. This bear also has a central front key, no longer working that would have wound a musical box. Bear has golden fur, glass eyes, stitched mouth, nose and claws. Height 43cm. CR; All fabric on tail has been lost. Tail lever has additional vertical 'play ' in it. Musical box does not work. Paw pads in poor condition as shown in photos, with sock stitched over one paw presumably to prevent loss of stuffing. All joints still working and the stuffing (wood wool) is generally firm. Fur very worn.

Mixed collection of toys and model rail including Hornby 'Albert Hall' locomotive with tender (unboxed), a further play worn locomotive and rolling stock (AF), 2 vintage teddy bears, and Armand Marseille bisque head doll (mould 390) height 42cm in traditional Scottish tartan dress, and a soft toy donkey (one box). CR; Bisque head- no chips or cracks noticed. Eyes do not move. 'Albert Hall' locomotive in good condition, all other rail items are play worn and some damaged and over painted. Teddy bears and donkey are intact but tatty, one bear has damaged paw pads.
2 mid 20th century teddy bears including a large bear probably by Chiltern with jointed body, glass eyes, a plastic nose with stitched mouth, stitched claws, velvet paw pads with feet having card backing. Signs of repair to fur on tummy, and stuffing around neck is reduced. Height 66cm. The other bear has glass eyes, stitched nose and mouth and replacement paw pads, height 57cm (2)
2 faded blue vintage teddy bears, both with jointed body, stitched nose and mouth and felt paw pads. The larger bear height 52cm has musical squeeze tummy. The other bear 49cm tall has original stitched claws. Both bears have pale blonde fur with evidence of original blue colour in their joints (2)
Chiltern type teddy bear with golden mohair, stitched nose and mouth and excelsior stuffing, in very worn condition with an eye missing, together with a 'Dream Baby' bisque head doll by Armand Marseille, mould 351, (several repairs to cracks across face), wearing a smocked dress, with vintage sewing patterns and dolls clothes.

It depicted a hunting trip taken by President Teddy Roosevelt, showing that he famously refused to shoot an injured bear cub because he felt it was unsportsmanlike.
