Virginia Wood (American, 1930-2008), "The Bear (Bust of General Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr)", 1993, bronze sculpture, signed and dated, mounted on wood base, dimensions: 34"h x 21"w x 19.5"w. A Victorian cast iron garden seat, probably Coalbrookdale, last quarter 19th century, the backrest with three arches with foliate cast cresting and detail, above conforming serpentine armrests and a (later) wood slatted seat, 99cm high, 175cm wide. This seat does not appear to bear foundry stamps, but certainly this design (number 90929) was registered and patented by Coalbrookdale on 28th April 1853. It appears in their 1875 Castings Catalogue as seat number 20.

Mechanical monkey novelty toy: battery operated tinplate monkey with guitar and flexible microphone, h28cm. G/F condition with some corrosion inside battery compartment, unboxed. A 9 carat gold bracelet CONDITION REPORTS Bracelet approx 18cm long. The clasp appears to be sound. Bracelet has some general wear and scuffs, but overall appears in reasonably good condition. It is marked 375 and bears an import mark for Sheffield, and has some indistinct stamped lettering to clasp - possibly ".....indaeer ..."? The bracelet does not bear the name which appears on the box, so box is probably associated (ie not original to the bracelet). Box has some knocks and scuffs and box is included in this lot.
