BARBERA JOSEPH: (1911-2006) American Artist. Co-founder of Hanna Barbera studios, best-known for producing Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear and many more worldwide iconic cartoon films. Academy Award winner. Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph by Joe Barbera, the image depicting various characters from Barbera´s cartoons, including Yogi Bear, Fred Flintstone, Scooby Doo, Top Cat, etc.. Signed in bold black ink with is name alone at the base of the image. VG
[WRIGHT BROTHERS]: An interesting, small collection of original vintage photographs of various sizes (mainly 6 x 4) most depicting Wilbur Wright at an aviation school in France, some of the images showing him with other pioneer aviators including Bleriot, Tissandier etc., and one showing him seated in the cockpit of an aircraft. Some of the photographs, by Callizo, bear printed white captions. HOOVER HERBERT: (1874-1964) American President 1929-33. A printed 8vo copy of an address entitled This Crisis in American Life, given by Herbert Hoover at the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia on 22nd June 1948. Signed by Hoover in dark fountain pen ink with his name alone to the centre of the front cover. With a series of small tears to the right edge of the cover. Together with an unsigned printed 8vo copy of an address entitled The Protection of Freedom, given by Hoover at the reception organised by the state of Iowa on the occasion of his 80th birthday, 10th August 1954. Accompanied by a facsimile A.L.S., Herbert Hoover, on one side of his printed correspondence card, n.p., August 1954, to a well-wisher, reading, in full, 'Bear with me for not especially acknowledging your gracious message. The thousands of them makes that physically impossible. I am grateful to you'. About VG, 3
Bond (Michael) A Bear Called Paddington, first edition, first printing, illustrations by Peggy Fortnum, original cloth, light sunning to spine and to upper and lower edges, dust-jacket, neatly price-clipped, light toning to spine, spine ends and corners chipped, fore-edges neatly strengthened and repaired on verso, spine with neat repairs to foot, some light rubbing to extremities but a very good example overall of a scarce jacket, 8vo, 1958.⁂ The first of Michael Bond's Paddington books in which he created his much beloved marmalade-adoring eponymous bear. Increasingly rare in the jacket.

OMEGA; a gentleman's 18ct gold Automatic Chronometer Constellation wristwatch, the silvered dial with batons and subsidiary date aperture, with gold strap, diameter excluding winding crown 35mm, approx 98g, with original box.Additional InformationInsurance certificate included dated 11.4.63. Scratches to the glass, numerous dents, knocks and scuffs to the case. The crown is worn and the bear metal is showing through. The watch appears to run and the fingers move freely although this is no guarantee of working order. Pitting to the fingers, the strap with wear.

All of the bears playworn and aged, some heavier than others. Mamod tractor is lacking the box and with some tarnishing, rusting and general wear to the paint. Postage for this lot would be a large box.
