Large Silver cigar box. The box is 9.5" x 6" x 3", though difficult to see in the photographs, there is a faint family crest engraved into the surface, and there would also have been a small plaque to the front, which has been removed leaving micro indentations. Lid and base both hallmarked, J.B Lion, Leopards Head, 0, indicating Silver, London, 1909, John Batson & Sons. Total weight is 1.5kg. The interior is filled with wood and a filler, the silver is a plate that wraps around.

A Victorian mahogany and brass-bound travelling vanity box. With a hinged lid and a silk drawer to the base. Having a red leather and velvet lined interior, the interior is fitted with a lift-out tray, various glass scent bottles and rouge pots with silver plated tops, silver plated tools and a thread holder, the interior to the lid falls forward to reveal an empty compartment intended for a mirror.
