A J Duvelleroy mid to late 19th century folding dance fan with pierced and silver inlaid mother of pearl guards and sticks, with bone slips, mother of pearl rivet and white metal loop, the silk leaf painted with birds and blossom in a landscape, and signed "Eudes", the leaf border and corners in fine floral lace, guard length 35cm, width approx 64cm, in original silk covered box with J Duvelleroy sticker to the inside. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition.
A J Duvelleroy late 19th century ostrich and egret feather folding fan with mother of pearl sticks, with an applied silver stylised "T" to the guard and a folded feather to the front guard, with loop and cream knotted tassel, width approx 75cm, in original box with "J Duvelleroy" label to the interior. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition.
Three George III oval copper snuff boxes, one silver mounted, 9.5cm, another with ship engraving and verse, 10.5cm, the last 6.5cm. (3) CONDITION REPORT: Oval with hexagon - Closes well, hinge good, solder/metal discolouration on right hand side, some minor dents and scratches Oval box - Pewter plate on top which is damaged at left. it is dated 1796, initials very rubbed, hinge good, closes well, hinge gapes at left side slightly. There is a gap where the thin rim edge is missing c 8mm, base with incised ship and verse, front of box has hole on the side, dents to the overlap of lid rim on left hand side Silver mounted oval - lid with oval in silver metal is initialled W B with silver at the opening point, hinge good. Colour very good, striking plate under the lid, closes well, dent at front near the footrim, impressed makers mark W J

Collection of twelve Georgian and later brass snuff boxes, some named, largest 11.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Shell oval; no obvious repair, hinge good, impressed to base AD*****ON. Rocker rectangular: hinge good, slight scratch to base, initialled J.S., no apparent repairs. Hunt rectangular: inscription slightly worn to lid, ships Gorleston Fair, Dum Fumo Viro, Jack Tar scene to base. Possible strengthening to interior hinge. Book shaped: repair to back of hinge 9spine) dated 1735. Inscribed John Scott, repair or firming up of interior to rim edges. Hole back right at top of spine, dent to spine. Rocker oval; iscrined J Ledger 1898, hinge strengthened, maybe original. Re-soldering from hinge backwards around end of box, slight scratching to base. Large oval: inscribed John Young to lid & Waterman at Faulcon 1748 to base, hinge very weak, pin replaced with wire, quiate a few repairs at back (soldered) and repair at side (intention? hole filled up) (all in middle (waist) section). Small rectangular: hinge good buyt later strengthened (?) rim edge also stengthened. Large rectangular: Different colours of brasses and metals. Inscribed Richard Steib, slight damage to part of brass on lid. ?? original, hinge good, heavy box, some scratches/marks. Rocker rectangle: inscribed Geo Bulls BATH, sailing ship, hinge good, slighrt pinhead dent on left side panel, interior joints strengthened. Barrell: very batteredm to base SAFETY BARREL FOR PATENT VESTA LIGHTS so not a snuffbox, a matchbox. Circular: inscribed to Robert Thomson Devon 1840, hinge appears ok, strengthened to interior of lid, couple of bashes on sides. Oval: inset sliver metal panel to lid inscrined G Schofield, hinge fine but strengthened, inset silver slender panel to base.
