Ladies' Rolex Yacht Master Oyster Perpetual Date stainless steel wristwatch, model 169622, platinum rotating bezel, sapphire crystal, silver dial in stainless steel Oyster case, 29mm diameter, on stainless steel bracelet. Purchased new by the vendor 09/05/2005 from Ernest Jones with original receipt, guarantee paper, service guarantee card dated 7th April 2017, Rolex service pouch, and original booklets, in original box with tag and extra link, together with the original outer Rolex box.The watch was purchased new by the vendor who has looked after the watch and hasn't worn it much since it's last service. The watch is currently running and appears to be in very good condition with only very light surface scratches commensurate with wear.
A fine Lange & Söhne 'Lange 1' Argente Dial 18ct white gold wristwatch, the silver dial with subsidiary seconds, date aperture and power reserve indicator, black enamel Roman numerals, blued steel hands, in circular 18ct white gold case, 38.5mm diameter, serial no 155262, on black crocodile leather strap with 18ct white gold deployment clasp.The watch was given as a gift and the vendor did not keep the box and papers. The watch is currently running and appears to be keeping time. The watch winds smoothly and adjusts correctly. The case is in good condition commensurate with age, light surface scratches commensurate with age and wear. The deployment clasp works well and closes tightly. The leather strap is in good condition commensurate with wear.

Provenance: By descent from Douglas Shepherd (1922-1989), a designer and architect working on public houses for the brewery firm Ind Coope. He was heavily influenced by and was a serious collector of Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau, including leading designers and artists such as Charles Ashlee and Jessie M King. He assembled a large collection from the 1950s to 1970s. His book collection was subsequently sold through Sotherby’s and in 2013 his magnificent silver collection by Archibald Knox and others was sold through these rooms.The key is present but extremely stiff to open the box, some splits to the casework, fittings appear to be complete and in good order, sone marks and slight mould to interior, overall good condition

1930s silver cigarette case of rectangular form with plain sides, cedar wood lining and hinged cover with engine turned decoration, on four leaf mounted paw feet (Birmingham 1937) Thomas Green. 14.5cm across.General overall condition good, some surface wear, scratching and denting to cover and side panels, cartouche is scratched, no present engraving but may have had engraving removed in the past, hinge is slightly distorted but cover shuts tight, feet are uneven and box does not sit square, base covering is uneven, interior wood lining is good with some staining. Marks slightly rubbed. Overall weight, including base and lining 11ozs.
Late 17th century silver counter box of cylindrical form with slip on cover, marked in the cover with maker's mark only, underside engraved AT or AJ 14 Feb 1692/3 and maker's mark FG (possibly Francis Garthorne). 5.7cm overall.General overall condition good, some surface wear, scratching and denting, top rim of body slightly distorted, cover is good. Internal diameter 2.5cm. Photographs of marks to follow.
