An exhibition quality 5 inch gauge model of a 4-2-2 Stirling single tender locomotive, the silver soldered copper boiler having fittings including pressure gauge, water sight-glass, double handle regulator, drains, safety valve, direction control, lever operated fire box door, brake levers and cab controlled cylinder drain cocks. The chassis with twin outside cylinders and internal valve gear, cross-head guides, injector and brakes to large central drive wheels. The six wheel tender with leaf-spring suspension, axle boxes, brake gear, hand operated water feed pump, detailed rivet-work, fitted steps and hand rails, lamp irons and vacuum hoses. The model finished in polished brass and steel work with detailed rivet-work, hand rails and lamp irons. Length 144cm. Cab width 20cm. No Boiler History available.
