Original vintage World War Two pictorial map for India In War And Peace featuring colourful illustrations of people, animals, factories, cattle, products and points of interest including silk, petroleum, wheat, tobacco, cotton, rice, silver, farming, ship building and tea with a traditional style image of an Indian man on an elephant in the lower left corner next to the description box - Before the war India was already one of the eight leading industrial countries of the world. Indian capital and Indian technical skill have helped to develop still further the country's industries since war began... - surrounded by a decorative flower border. A silver candle snuffer on tray by Hawksworth, Eyre & Company, Sheffield 1851, the waisted rectangular tray with engraved decoration, 23cm long, 328gms total Condition Report: I would say snuffer and stand are in quite good condition, the edge of the snuffer box shows signs of being used ie black residue, the tray has minor scratches but no tears or dents. .
An incredible condition rare vintage 1960's (1964) Selcol made The Beatles ' New Beat ' plastic acoustic model guitar. Burgundy, red and orange plastic construction, with four strings and all tuning pegs present. Features facsimile autographs to the corner and a printed sticker of all four Beatles to the top. ' New Beat ' silver coloured emblem also to body. Selcol makers label to sound hole. Also still retains one original burgundy guitar plectrum / pick. Appears in very good condition, with no cracks splits or visible damage -(one string missing). Survives within its rare original cardboard box, which still retains the original paper label to top, and generally appears mint. Original tissue paper still remains. A rare and great example of early Beatles merchandise. Guitar measures approx; 80cm tall.
