Matchbox Super Kings K15 Daimler Fleetline Londoner Bus - Factory Trial Model and Box "1979 Royal Visit to Iran". Model was intended for simultaneous release with the proposed state visit of Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip to Iran during 1979 but the visit was cancelled with the supply of buses being reused with alternative labels and the boxes destroyed. Bus has metallic silver body with bare metal opening centre doors, lemon yellow interior, 4-spoke wheels - Excellent (glue showing through labels which are discoloured & roof has box rub marks & black ink transfer) in Good "Heritage Gifts" Window Box which has correct artwork for this model to end flaps and "A special commemorative model to celebrate the visit during 1979 made by their Royal Highnesses Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip" to rear - plastic display stand is correct for this issue having Arabic script text to base. Very rare model consigned for sale by Ex-Lesney Employee.
