A good quality box-lock example being a conversion from flint to percussion, Overall length 185mm, the circular screw off steel barrel 64mm in length, decorated brass lock engraved ‘Harding’ and ‘London’, chequered decoration to the mahogany slab hand grips, plain silver escutcheon plate, strong action, decorated safety catch, hammer, trigger guard and fore-end of the steel barrel. Trigger guard action releases the bayonet, the button for releasing and returning the bayonet is operative but loose, an early period wood screw replacement on the ‘Harding’ side of the lock, otherwise very good condition £300-£400

A Continental Silver-Gilt Minaudière, With English Import Marks for Marples and Co., London, 1903, oblong and with a hammered finish, the cover hinged in two places, the larger section opens to reveal a compartment with mirror, the cover with further compartments for compact and pill box, the mirror opens to reveal a compartment for cards and surface for notes, the smaller section opens to reveal spring loaded sovereign holder and half-sovereign holder, with suspension chain and fitted with a pencil, 11cm high excluding chain, gross weight 8oz 16dwt, 273gr Provenance: Bonhams, London, 9 December 2003, lot 160. . Fully marked on back. Further marked on various covers. Stamped 'Pat 21475' inside. There marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the hammered finish and the gilding in places.
A George II Silver-Mounted Moss Agate and Mother-of-Pearl Snuff-Box, Apparently Unmarked, Probably Circa 1720, oblong and with canted corners, the hinged cover set with a moss agate panel within a border of engraved liners, the base set with a mother-of-pearl panel, 7cm wide. Apparently unmarked. There are some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some bruises to the base and some areas of loss the silver where it has been folded over to hold the mother-of-pearl panel in place. Gross weight 94gr.
A Set of Four French Silver-Gilt Mounted Cut-Glass Scent-Bottles, With Provincial Guarantee Mark For Small Items, 1809-1819, each glass scent-bottle cut with differing diamonds, two of oval section and two of round section, the screw cover with foliage stamped border and beaded base, in fitted mahogany finish box with cut-steel pin decoration, with an associated English silver funnel, the box 8cm square. The mount of each bottle with small guarantee mark. The mark is generally clear. The cover on one bottle is fixed and has not been removed. The cover on another bottle does not thread properly to the bottle. The base of the box is possibly replaced and with a number of pins lacking. There is some wear to the silk lining inside.
A Portuguese Silver-Gilt and Enamel Box and Cover, Maker's Mark a Symbol, Gondomar, First Quarter 20th Century, circular, the sides and cover with silver-gilt filagree mounts over clear glass, the body with enamelled flowers and the legend 'Quer Bem Me', on three bun feet, 9.5cm diameter Provenance: Bonhams, London, 4 April 2006, lot 62.. Marked underneath. The marks are generally clear. In generally good condition with only some minor surface scratching and wear. There are some minor chips to the enamel.

DMR Products - A boxed DMR Products OO Gauge #4MR04 brass, nickel silver and white metal kitbuilt SR/BR Z Class 0-8-0 Tank Locomotive, Op.No. 30856, finished in BR weathered black livery. The model is built and painted to a very high standard, and is presented within its original lift off lid box which is in Very Good condition. The model is unchecked for completeness.
A Silver Mounted Tortoiseshell Snuff Box, probably by Jean Obrisset, circa 1710, of oval form, the cover with relief profile of Queen Anne, 8cm long Of Huguenot origin, Jean Obrisset was first recorded in England on 26 July 1691 at the baptism of his daughter and his latest recorded box appears to be dated 1728. Obrisset was a die maker and engraver working in horn and tortoiseshell. A similar example initialled OB and dated 1705 is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art from the collection of J Pierrepoint Morgan. A similar unmarked example was sold by Christie's South Kensington, 20 May 2014, lot 323. Both tortoiseshell panels in good condition free from any cracks. Silver mounts also in good order, just with superficial dents and marks. The lid closes correctly.
