Length 7.8cm excluding suspension ring, width 1.4cm. Condition report: Good order, needs a clean. Fine scratches commensurate with age. Gilt rubbed on inside of lid, hinge good, clips shut. Generally in good overall condition.

A boxed set 'James Bond 007 - Action Toy Set 4' by Gilbert, containing three plastic figures, James Bond, Domino and 'Dr No' together with a 'Fire Spitting Dragon Tank'. the figures being glued to the box plinth with the 'Dragon Tank' retained by a silver plastic wire. The illustrated outer box would appear to be a reproduction, and the box has a cellophane wrap which is taped at both ends, otherwise appears overall G.

A brass Bell Pattern No. 1 sextant Heath and Company Limited, London, late 19th century The elaborate bell-pierced frame with pivoted arm mounted with mirror opposing hinged magnification lens over aperture for reading the silver inset brass Vernier scale signed Heath & Co. Ltd., Crayford. London, and engraved with owner s name E.W. Sinclair. R.N., with two sets of hinged filters, brass sighting tube and wooden grip to rear of frame, the fitted mahogany box with various accessories and paper test certificate inscribed National Physical Laboratory, KEW OBSERVATORY... dated April 1904 applied to a maker s card to the interior of lid, the exterior with shaped brass name plate engraved E.W. Sinclair R.N. to top and ivorine plaque inscribed BELL PATTERN, No. 1, SEXTANT over recessed carrying handle to right hand side, the box 28cm (11ins) wide. The firm of Heath and Company was founded in 1845 by George Heath in Erith, Kent. He specialised in supplying instruments to the maritime trade as was succeeded by his sons Frederick Thomas and George William on his death in 1872. By 1900 the firm had expanded to become one of the most prolific manufacturers of nautical and surveying instruments and had adopted the 'Hezzanith' trade name; in 1926 the business was amalgamated with W.F. Stanley of London.
A well engineered model of a 7 1/4 inch gauge Great Western Railway 0-4-2 side tank locomotive No 5800, the silver soldered copper boiler with fittings including steam pressure gauge, water sight-glass, regulator and other usual fittings. The chassis with twin inside cylinders and Stephenson s valve gear, fitted brakes, hand operated water feed pump fitted to side tank and sanding gear. The model finished in traditional green and black livery with detailed rivet-work, fitted steps, hand rails, lamp irons, vacuum hose, tool box and cab side number plate. Length 116cm. Cab width 34cm. Height 48cm. No current boiler history available.
A 3 1/2 inch gauge model of a 4-2-2 Stirling Single Great Northern Railway tender locomotive No 1 , built by award winning builder the late Mr A J Bodily of Northamptonshire. The silver soldered super-heated copper boiler with cab fittings including regulator, pressure gauge, sight-glass, direction control, cab operated cylinder drain cocks and smoke box door. The chassis with twin outside cylinders, Stephenson s internal valve gear, brakes and water pump. The six wheel tender with suspension, hand feed pump, steps, hand-rails and couplings, brakes, simulated coal panel and sign-written GNR . The model finished in traditional green lined livery with fitted handrails, steps, lamp irons and couplings. Brass builders plaque A J Bodily 1978 Cogenhoe . Total length 101cm. Cab width 14cm. Past boiler history: Boiler Identification No. N47-80-47. Northern Association of Model Engineers Boiler Test Certificate No. 47/0. Dated 10th of June 1991. Test pressure 160 psi. Working pressure 80 psi. Awards: This model was awarded The Clarkson Cup at the 1st Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition. Leicester 1978. SET OF SIX CAULDON CHINA COFFEE CANS AND SAUCERS on a cobalt blue ground with gilt foliate and geometric decoration with silver mounts and scroll handle, by James Dixon, Sheffield, 1948, together with a set of six silver hallmarked coffee spoons in original fitted oak case with gilt beaded decoration. Green printed marks to base.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Evidence of crazing to some of the pieces, silver mounts are slightly tarnished overall, rather grubby in places, but no obvious chips, cracks or restoration, some of the gilt beading is loose from the side of the casing, but present and inside box.
