A Pair of Early 19th Century Percussion Pocket Pistols by Philip Bond, Corn Hill, London, each with 7cm turn-off steel barrel with Tower proof marks, the box lock engraved with martial trophies enclosing maker's name, with slide safety and concealed trigger, the walnut slab butt inlaid with silver birds and flowerheads amidst tendrils, 19cm. Actions work, holding at full and half cock. Nice brown patina to the metalwork. Small markings to barrel where the barrel key would fit. Minor bruising to butt.

His family became the greatest producer of weapons and ammunition the world had ever known. The centenary medal was presented to Krupp's leading customers, military and political leaders.
