The front left corner of the top has a small fracture. The hinges are broken. The hallmarks are clear. The base itself is in generally good condition with only minor surface scratches and dints. A silver and enamel cut glass dressing table set, by Adie Brothers, Birmingham 1928 (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This lot is in generally good condition. The glass tray is in good order with no chips or damage. There are two tiny edge chips to the bottom edge of the small lidded compartment, however these are almost insignificant. The two glass bottles are in good condition. The enamel is slightly rubbed on the edge of both bottle tops. There is also a tiny enamel loss to one corner of the smaller lidded box. These losses are minimal. The length of the tray is 9 ins. Width 4.5 ins, height of glass bottles 3.75 ins, width of caskets 3.75 ins at the widest point.
