A set of three George II tea caddies, maker Pierre Gillois, London 1754/55/56: of bombe outline, each with shallow domed lift-off lid and strawberry finial, the waisted bodies with chased scroll decoration raised on curved shell feet,(the larger caddy missing one foot), contained in a Victorian rosewood fitted box, 29cm. wide, total weight of silver 23.38ozs.
