Of rectangular form, the cover inset with silver-coloured and copper rectangular and fan-shaped panels engraved with bamboo and flowers, the inside fitted with a tray with a metal water dropper and stand (suiteki), inkstone and brush, 23.2cm x 15.2cmOverall in good order, the interior of the box with some minor surface deterioration to interior of base and to tray/liner, some discolouration to water dropper, minor wear to inkstone. Very minor wear to lacquered box.
