Ring handles may have been repaired where they join the shanks. Both bowls may have been restored at some time. Hinge has some playPair with box hinge- one bowl marked with lion passant, distorted makers mark and one other mark (possibly a casting mark). Other bowl has makers mark W.D only. One shank may have been repaired where it joins edge of outer to box hinge and on one stem at edge of hinge. other stem has been repaired approximatley three quatres down towards bowl. Hinge has minor play.Other pair- marked with lion passant and distorted makers mark on outside of minor edge of ring handles. One shank has solder repair. Hinge has minor play
