A Large Hallmarked Silver Cigarette Box, Elkington & Co, Birmingham 1966, of plain rectangular form, the hinged lid bearing facsimile signatures and engraved to the front "With Appreciation 30th March 1967", 16.5cm wide, in original card box bearing Elkington blue paper label stating "Pattern S338/100 Plain Cig Box". *The signatures are of past Directors of Allen Priest & Sons of Bath Mills, Albert Street, Lockwood, Huddersfield - a firm of woollen yarn spinners, established in Huddersfield in the 19th Century. The cigarette box was presented in 1967 to the Vendor's Father Eric Revell, of Revell & Revell (later Revell Ward) Chartered Accountants, who had provided their services to Allen Priest & Sons over the generations.
