A Hardy "Perfect" 4¼" alloy salmon fly reel with duplicated mark to check mechanism, a nickel silver rotating line guide and a nickel silver locking screw, complete with maker's card box CONDITION REPORTS Reel basically sound, though there are signs of dirt and general wear and tear throughout, initials "HW" crudely scratched into the winder side below the Hardy Bros. Ltd. name, and very worn with signs of damage to the rim verso where it appears to have been burnt or eaten away by tarnish leaving the rim thinner and worn away in places, also very dirty and possibly with signs of corrosion to the interior column. Box basically sound, though with some marking and inscription from previous owner to the lid.
