A SILVER GEORG JENSEN BANGLE designed in the 1960's, by Vivianna Torun Bulow Hube for Georg Jensen, bangle pattern number 207 is set with a sugar loaf cut rutilated quartz, flanked by two silver moons. This example is further hallmarked with British import marks for London 1977 by the Georg Jensen shop. Inner dimensions 6.3cm x 5cm. bangle width at the back 0.8cm, across the moons and stone 4.2cm approx. Sprung hook clasp. Original box, & cardboard outer box. Weight of the bangle on its own 47.4gms Condition Report:Slight scuff to the back of the bangle, otherwise light general wear to the mount. Smokey quartz has internal flaws indicative of the quartz family, and pretty golden rutile needles
ART DECO LADIES COMPACT & CIGARETTE CASE the silver cases both with guilloche enamel with central motif set with opal doublets, onyx and marcasites. Made by Adie Brothers, with Birmingham hallmarks for 1937. Cigarette case with inscription dated 1940, dimensions 6.7cm x 8.2cm. Compact dimensions 7.2cm x 7.3cm. Both in a made to measure fitted box. Weight of the compacts together 206.3gms, in the box 371.8gms Condition Report:"Cigarette case; Enamel; white edge, no chips minor scratches and abrasions, seen with a loope, bearly visible by eye. Pink enamel; one small flake chip missing from bottom right hand corner, very light scratches if any, please see photo 4, for clarity. No damage to the opal, tiny gap to one edge, this is from the stone cutting & not damage. One small dent to the back, see photo 13, inscribed inside. Clasp ok.compact; enamel; all ok, very light scratches if any. Light powder residue, mirror in good order. Some very light dents to the back, see photo 8"
