Large Silver Presentation Box of the German Automobile Industry to Adolf Hitler on his 50th birthday.This silver box features a separately applied winged automobile wheel to the cover with a red enameled background. Each corner features a swastika, one of which can be turned to open the box. The exterior corners are adorned with rotating swastikas. The base features the maker mark: "VALENTIN HÖCHER MÜNCHEN" as well as jeweler's marks and silver hallmark stamp "925". The base is crafted in ebony. The interior of the case features a parchment document with a red leather frame. The calligraphy is crafted in red ink and gold lettering and features the dedication: "THE GERMAN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY AND ITS MEMBERS PRESENT TO YOU ON YOUR 50TH BIRTHDAY, THE LEADER AND CHANCELLOR OF THE GREATER GERMAN EMPIRE, IN WARMEST CONGRATULATIONS, WE OWE TO YOU OUR LIFE, OUR ASCENT AND THE INCENTIVE .
