II. D. G. REG. F. D., denomination below FIFTY PENCE, rev. Kew Gardens Chinese pagoda entwined with plants, “Kew” italic raised on base of pagoda, dates 1759 2009 as legend, designed by Christopher Le Brun, issue weight 8.00g (S.H19). Some toning around outer parts, otherwise practically as struck, issued in original box with certificate, edition limit of 7,500, maximum coin mintage 20,000, though we note the Spink Catalogue gives a figure of 7,575 actually issued, the most popular fifty pence reverse to collect.
