The box containing gold core aiguillette and gold braid leather belt and strap by Hawkes & Co., 14 Piccadilly, London. The belt having silver gilt buckles. Provenance: Copy of a letter from Major W.R. Edgedale setting out the career of Captain M.A.A. Little who was commissioned to the Royal Horse Guards (The Blues) on 12th June, 1935. During all his service he served in Egypt, India, The United Kingdom and the Middle East. He died of wounds on 5th October, 1944 and was buried at Santacangelo, Italy on the same day. His rank at the time of his death was Substantive Major.
