Tests as approximately 96% silver. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some bruising to the base.
An Emerald and Diamond Hinged Banglethe central section of openwork design, comprising of two oval cabochon emeralds and five vari-sized emerald-cut and step cut emeralds, in yellow rubbed over settings, flanked by trios of old cut and eight-cut diamonds, in white claw settings, to yellow engraved tapered shoulders and a double row hinged back with bead work decoration, total estimated diamond weight 0.60 carat approximately measures 6.5cm by 4.6cmThe bangle is in poor condition with abrasion and chips to each of the emeralds, there is also evidence of acid testing. It fastens with a tongue and box catch and features a figure-of-eight safety catch. It bears no hallmark but in our opinion would test as silver gilt and gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 32.0 grams. CR made 09.06.23.

The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving. There is some damage to the piercing, this is mostly around the handles. There is a section of piercing lacking. The box is worn and scuffed and with some shrinkage cracks and staining.
