A small circular Chinese silver dressing table pot with lid, decorated with bamboo leaves, diameter 5.5cm, a larger example decorated with dragons around the pot and on the lid, diameter 9cm, both with marks probably Wing Nam, and a Chinese silver backed hand brush decorated with etched and relief dragons, also a silver plated circular hand mirror decorated with a dragon, weighable silver approx 7ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Brush: needs reattaching to the silver mounts (lost one nail and is loose). Small box: generally good condition, a few mild dints. Bigger box: several areas of mishapings, staining, all with rubbing and tarnish. Mirror: heavily rubbed to the raised points, restored (mirror plate reglued to silver mounting). Postage within UK would cost £15 + VAT.

A George V hallmarked silver shaped oval jewellery box with pique work decorated tortoiseshell hinged lid, on four outswept legs, E.S. Barnsley & Co, Birmingham 1910, length 8.5cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: One of the nails in the lid is loose, the other is missing, and there is a minor chip visible to the underside of the lid. Also the decoration to the frame of the lid is rubbed, legs slightly misshapen.
A George V hallmarked silver cigarette case of curved rounded rectangular form, monogrammed to the outside and with internal presentation inscription, Charles S Green, Birmingham 1919, length 11cm and a smaller example bearing the motto and crest of Blundell's School, Tiverton, Henry Williamson, Birmingham 1908, combined approx 7.27ozt, also a large shaped rectangular snuff box stamped "STG Silver" with bright cut cartouche enclosing presentation inscription and a small monogrammed snuff box (4).

Staffordshire Yeomanry Officer’s Attributed Pre 1883 Pill Box Cap. A good and rare example, attributed to John Baddeley Wood Dl. JP of Henley Hall Ludlow. The cap is of dark blue melton cloth, with a broad band of silver bullion lace of acorn and oak leaf design. The crown with silver bullion cord decoration, with further cord to the welt of the crown. The interior with a leather sweatband and crimson silk lining. Retaining original narrow chinstrap. Silver bullion remains very bright, two small moth patches not effecting the overall appearance. Near VGC. ... Contained in the original card storage box, this retaining original Hill Brothers tailors address label with ink name “J,B. Wood” John Baddeley Wood was appointed a Cornet in the Staffordshire Yeomanry on the 5th February 1873. His seat was Henley Hall Ludlow.
