A silver etrog box, by Abraham Benelisha, London 1928, of oval form on four ball feet, the cover with Hebrew inscription surrounded by two leafy branches, the body similarly decorated with an etrog, 14cm wide, 8cm high, 12oz With Hebrew inscription taken from the Torah 'and you should take for yourselves, the fruit of a citrus tree...'. CONDITION REPORT: Tarnished. Doesn't close smoothly, slight overhang at front of lid. Some light wear.

Barnard, London 1876, of half fluted squat circular form with bands of foliate shells and beaded scroll handles, in fitted velvet-lined wooden box, retailed by Dobson and Sons, Silversmiths, 32 Piccadilly, 16oz CONDITION REPORT: Tarnish. Rims of jug and teapot slightly bent. Bowl - 3oz. Jug -3 oz. Teapot - 9oz.

Murphy London 1929,also marked with the falcon mark, of cylindrical form with fine ropework borders, the interior rim of undulating form, the cover with geometric niello work circular frieze, 7.5cm high, 5oz CONDITION REPORT: General wear. Dents to underside of base. Surface scratches, especially to top of cover.
A Victorian coromandel and brass inlaid dressing box, retailed by Halstaff & Hannaford, 228 Regent Street, London, the velvet and leather lined interior fitted with silver gilt and gilt metal accessories, c.1868, mixed dates and makers, to include: a large double medicine spoon by George Adams, London 1870, a propelling pencil/pen, by Sampson Morden, a hand mirror, tray of silver mounted cut glass bottles, above two further drawers, the lower drawer fitted for writing and with a fold-down front, fitted with manicure accessories, all decorated with arabesque style engraving, against a linear background, the toilet bottle covers with vacant circular cartouches CONDITION REPORT: Some light wear. Tarnish to silver gilt. Small bits of veneer missing. Splits and raising to the veneer. Brass banding missing to top and loose on mirror. Some chips to glass bottles. One lid doesn't engage to glass neck. Some rusting to steel parts of implements. Some fading and wear to both the velvet and leather. Release mechanism is a little stiff. One implement missing. Silk tabs missing on mirror and stationery drawer. Crack to top, in the back left hand corner. 29cm deep. 22.5cm high. 35cm wide. Although different makers, all parts have uniform decoration and match. It must have been originally assembled by different makers. Please see additional images (available upon request).
A George III silver snuff box, by Thomas Phipps & Edward Robinson, London 1790, of rectangular form with canted corners, bright cut engraved with a flower head to centre of cover and base on a rayed and prick dot background, gilt interior, 5.5cm long CONDITION REPORT: No obvious major fault. Light general wear and a couple of minute knocks and dents. Marks clear.
Two George III silver vinaigrettes, of rectangular form with canted corners, one by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1813?, the cover engraved 'L'amitie' between a pair of pellet bands, the gilt interior with foliate pierced grille, with ring attachment, 2.5cm long, the other by Cocks & Bettridge, Birmingham 1812, the cover engraved with two bands of zigzags and foliage flanking a central vacant oval cartouche and two semi flower heads, 2.75cm long, and another, by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1807, of oblong form, the cover engraved with pellets, the gilt interior with drilled grille formed as a lozenge, 2.25cm long (3) CONDITION REPORT: Pellets box- Hinge loose Lid doesn't close tightly All have small dents and are a little worn
