A Victorian coromandel wood dressing box by W Leuchars, Piccadilly, brass bound and filled a drawer beneath, the interior fitted glass jars and boxes with silver covers, crested London, 1863 CONDITION REPORT: Great quality, some slight splits to veneers on top. Losses to fittings within lid and drawer (glove stretcher, mirror, thimble etc.) Some frits and small chips to some glass fittings but nothing major. Some small dents to silver elements. Mounts were silver gilt, mostly the gilt has rubbed away. The yellow metal roundels are likely gold but unmarked.
