A 15 Carat Gold Penknife; A Silver Compact; A White Metal Box; together with Various Findings Knife – 18.4 grams. Findings – 5.3 grams.The knife with overall surface scratching and wear. The blades each with wear from use and signs of rust marks and steel surfaces are discoloured, makers mark is slightly rubbed, The compact with some wear. The box probably originally silver plate, the plate now worn off. Compact silver surfaces are slightly discoloured in parts, interior compact mirror with staining in parts.

These were commissioned to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the charter of Beverley. Sold with the original receipt for £65, both certificates, one box and and the pamphlet.
