There is signs of heavy wear to the strap, including additional punctures to the strap around the buckle holes, and areas of creasing around the holes. Watch glass is in generally good order. There is a moderate amount of scratching to the case and lugs. This watch is currently ticking, however full working order cannot be guaranteed. The buckle is stamped ‘W’ ‘750’ which suggests that it is 18k white gold.

An early 20th century Austrian silver gilt and enamel box by Nissel & Sikora, of rectangular form with canted corners, decorated in monochrome enamel with gilt highlighting, the cover depicting an oriental lakeside scene, opening to reveal a gilt interior, engraved to rim 'Nissel & Sikora 1.Karntnerstr. 45', 8cm x 5cm, weight 124.7gms, compete in a red leather boxCR; There is a small chip to the enamel on the left side of the box, and a couple of small grazes to the enamel on the same side. No other notable chips or losses to the enamel, just light scratching and wear only. No splits, denting, thinning or signs of repair to the box. Some wear to the gilt interior, concentrated at the the hinges and lip on the box, but otherwise this is in good order. Cover opens smoothly, but does not close completely flush - a small gap is left around the lip.

The GCB & GCMG ceremonial robes and mantle stars belonging to Arthur William de Brito Savile Foljambe, 2nd Earl of Liverpool, GCB, GCMG, GBE, MVO who after a distinguished military career was appointed Governor-General of New Zealand, retiring from service in 1920 Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath (GCB), ceremonial robe, the crimson silk robe with white silk lining and tailors label for 'Ede & Ravenscroft' additionally inscribed 'The Rt Hon Earl of Liverpool GCB', with a large silver bullion mantle star with red and gold detail, measuring 25 x 25cm with roped tassels Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael & St George (GCMG), ceremonial robe, the blue silk robe with tailors label for 'Ede, Son Ravenscroft' and additionally inscribed 'Earl of Liverpool GCMG', with a large silver bullion mantle star with red, blue and gold detail, measuring 20.5 x 20cm, the robe approximately 165cm long, some damage notably to the collar both contained in a japanned metal tin, the lid inscribed 'Earl of Liverpool GCMG', 10.5cm high x 65cm wide x 47cm deep Bicorne hat, black fur with black lace embroidered decoration by Wilkinson & Son, Maddox Street, London. W.', the tailors label inscribed 'Earl of Liverpool', contained in original metal hat box with brass plaque engraved 'The Right Hon Earl of Liverpool', together with a number of related documents including Annual Service booklets for The Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St George (1927, 1930, 1931, 1937, 1938 (2), 1939), a letter from Ede, Son & Ravenscroft dated 16th July 1914, the letter is informing the Earl of Liverpool that his mantle star is supplied by Wingate & Johnstone, a bestowal document for the Order of the Bath, a booklet for Statutes Order of the BathNote: Arthur William de Brito Savile Foljambe, 2nd Earl of Liverpool, GCB, GCMG, GBE, MVO, PC, JP, DL (1870-1941) was born at Compton Place, Eastbourne, Sussex. He was educated at Eton College and at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst before being commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade in 1891. He advanced to Captain in 1897 and served in South Africa during the Boer War. In 1901 he was appointed an extra aide-de-camp to the Earl Cadogan, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. He retired from military service in 1907. He succeeded his father in earldom in 1907 and took his seat in the House of Lords on the Liberal benches. After an appointment under H.H. Asquith he was appointed Governor of New Zealand in 1912. In 1917 the office was raised in rank to that of Governor-General of New Zealand. He retired from his post in 1920 and was appointed a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath the same year. During WWI, Liverpool conferred his name upon a New Zealand infantry regiment. The New Zealand Rifle Brigade (Earl of Liverpool's Own) which was formed in 1915 and disbanded in 1919. 2nd Earl of Liverpool died at his residence Canwick Hall in 1941 aged 73. CONDITION REPORT: The pink robe:- smells of moth balls, overall appearance good, creased, faint stains to outer and lining, the fabric appears in a fair condition with minor to little damage.The blue robe:- the silk is in poor condition, fragile and damaged, with large areas of tearing, holes and losses (see images) especially to the neck and shoulders and around the badge, the badge is in good condition.
