Talfourd Wood, the W in GWK, was a pupil at Swindon at the same time. 1911 he was living at Springfield, 19 Brackley Road, Beckenham, Kent. The prototype GWK car was built in stables in Beckenham. In 1921 he married, at Wandsworth, to Doris M. Lorden.
