A Victorian silver trinket box by William Comyns & Sons, London, 1896, heart-shaped with embossed scrolls, flowers and birds and a central vacant cartouche, 5 cm high, 94.2 gr. . Marks slightly rubbed but clear. Bruises to the crimped edges and surface marks, scratches and wear consistent with age and use particularly to the high points of the decoration. There are three very small holes to the cover and one to the base where the silver has worn and split.
