A silver table cigarette box, Birmingham hallmark for 1961, 17 cm x 11 cm x 4 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The box is in generally good condition with no major issues. It is not monogrammed. The top closes crisply and is flush. There are no issues with the hinges. There are no splits. There are some minor surface scratches and numerous small dings. The hallmarks are not rubbed and clearly visible. The interior is a little dirty. Two boxwood dividers are missing. The front left bottom corner is slightly misshapen. The top left corner has a more significant dint and again is slightly misshapen. The top right hand corner of the top panel has a small dint. The overall condition is generally good however. The base is in good condition. Gross weight 560 grams.
An Edward VII silver miniature knife box shape desk accessory, Cooper Brothers & Sons 1907, 95 grams. Height 6.5 cm, width 5.5 cm, depth 5.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The box is in generally very good condition. The top snaps shut as it should. The hinge is in good condition with no movement. There are no significant dents or scratches to the piece. The interior is very clean.
A Reid & Sons of Newcastle box, containing a matching cake slice, butter knife, caddy spoon and sifter. Sheffield 1973, together with a silver salt and a small silver waiter. Diameter 16 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The gross weight is 383 grams. This includes the blue glass liner to the salt which we cannot easily remove. The hallmarks are all clear and legible. There is slight rubbing to the hallmark on the salt but all the others are crisp.
