Date letter rubbed, but likely circa 1904 / 05. The interior features a fold-out stand for the curler, with a burner section to the lid. A rare Edwardian curio. Measures 5 x 8 x 4cm.

Lancastria salt, where there is a small loss to the band, otherwise general surface wear. Provenance: this lot is from a private collection in Surrey and the vendor's father taught at Liverpool Maritime College many years ago.
