A fine mid/late 20th century hallmarked silver cigarette box of rectangular form; the bark-style textured and hinged top opening to reveal compartmentalised cedar wood interior, raised on four squared, pointed feet, maker's mark for Hartman Bros., Birmingham assay marks for 1974 (16.5cm wide)Condition Report: The lid closes as it should, the hinge appears good, the four legs appear good and the underside is also good. The condition of the interior wood is also good with a moveable central divider. The hallmarks on the lid are rubbed but the base hallmarks are visible and clear. There is a pinhead sized ding to approx. 1cm up from the front LH foot as viewed from the front. There is also a very small ding to the top left corner of the lid as viewed from the front. Some minor surface scratching commensurate with age.
