A pair of late 19th century Adam style silver plated candlesticks, with detachable nozzles and Corinthian capitals above spiral acorn and oak leaf moulded columns on swept circular bases decorated with urns and acanthus leaves, maker's initial TB & S in a shield, height 32.5cm, (2).Additional InformationThe base of each candlestick with a patina of knocks and scuffs, one of the corners of a candlestick is knocked and the maker's marks on one are stronger than on the other, the nozzles do not have the maker's marks on them. Postage for this lot would be a medium box.

There is no engraving or decoration. Two of the cups have minor knocks at the rim. It is our opinion that they are kiddish cups.

A George V hallmarked silver trinket box and hinged cover on four circular feet, Birmingham 1914, length 7cm, together with a hallmarked silver inkwell, a hallmarked silver trumpet vase and a white metal mounted spirit flask (4).Additional InformationThe silver trinket box does have hallmarks but they are heavily worn, the hinge does not close fully and it is tired in appearance. The silver vase has knocks and some splits to the rim and other knocks to the central section. There is also a split to the silver where it meets the base section, the hallmarks are worn. The inkwell is somewhat tired, the white metal mounted spirit flask is generally ok, just with general age wear patina to the metal and to the leather.

The length of the item is 9.5cm.

FOOTBALL INTEREST; two cased hallmarked silver football medals, the first cast with an overlaid yellow metal shield and engraved verso 'S & D.B.L 1928-9 A. Gravell', in an associated red leather box embossed to the front 'Gloucestershire Football Association 1904-5', a white metal and yellow metal pierced medal engraved 'Winners B.&.D.W.C.L' in an associated embossed leather case named to the front 'Western Football league 1905-6', and two further hallmarked silver medals one unmarked and the other engraved 'Bristol Schools R.U' and named verso 'A Vallis' (4).Additional InformationThe two leather boxes are associated to the medals inside of them. The medals with general age wear throughout, there is a date engraved to the back of the pierced silver medal of 1910-11, but this been partly scratched out. The Bristol School medal is a rugby medal and has general age wear patina throughout.

CROWN STAFFORDSHIRE; an 'Egg Shell' pattern set of six coffee cups, teacups and saucers, the cups in pierced cherub and scroll motif hallmarked silver holders with stylised handles, the coffee William Comyns, Birmingham 1901, the tea cups Birmingham 1914, one cased, the other in associated box (24). Additional InformationTwo of the coffee cans cracked. Three of the tea cups to not ‘ring’ when pinged. One of the tea cups with a slight hair line crack at rim. All cups and cans with some surface scratches and rubbing to gilding. The saucers which are pictured on their own belong the associated box.
