A quantity of mixed jewellery to include an early 20th century lady's 9ct yellow gold cased mechanical cocktail wristwatch, on associated rolled gold rope bracelet, a similar 9ct gold yellow gold cased example by Slava on associated rolled gold bracelet, two gentleman's wristwatches, one unmarked in yellow metal case on expanding bracelet and the other a gold plated automatic Rotary example on leather strap, a further fashion watch, an Elizabeth II hallmarked silver ingot pendant, a 19" box chain necklace, brooches, etc, and two crowns for 1890 and 1951. CONDITION REPORT: Back plate to mother of pearl inset watch may be a replacement and consequently of uncertain material, the three mechanical wristwatches appear to be in working order, automatic watches need new batteries.

A Queen Anne or George I tortoiseshell and silver box, unmarked, English circa 1710-20, the hinged rectangular cover with silver pin work and an embossed head and shoulders portrait of Queen Anne wearing a laurel wreath, 5.5cm (2 1/8in) long; and a late Victorian silver rectangular vesta box, London 1896, plain and engraved S.S. India/ P Co. Sep. 1896 , 4.7cm (1 7/8in) long (2) SS India was a steam passenger liner operated by the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company between 1896 and 1915. India was the first of five sister ships built for P , the others being the Persia, China, Egypt and Arabia. India was the largest ship built for P at the time. She was hired by the Admiralty on 13th March 1915 and was used as an armed merchant cruiser. On the 8th of August that year she stopped off Helligvaer, near Bodo, Norway, to investigate a suspected blockade runner, and was torpedoed by SM U-22. India's sinking caused the deaths of 160 men. The surviving 22 officers and 119 men were taken to Narvik.
