Kirton by the Subscribers of the LONDON COFFEE and EATING HOUSE KEEPERS ASSOCIATION As a Token of their Esteem & Regard for the Zeal, ability & Liberality Displayed by him During the Time he Fulfilled the Offices of VICE PRESIDENT and PRESIDENT, and for his Valuable Services upon all Occasions to Advance the Interests of the Association, October 1845”, Kirton’s monogram engraved to the exterior, 3½” x 2½” x ¾”; Birmingham 1845, by Frederick Marson. An extremally rare silver antique perfume box, having top catch and unfolding to reveal four silver topped scent bottles. Two bottles have floral work to silver tops and two are plain silver. Hallmark for Frederick Edmonds, London 1897. Exceptional condition to all parts other than a small crease near base of outer box. 7cm x 4cm.
