A George V Dressing Case, maker`s mark NM, London 1912, retailed by Pittway Brothers, crushed green leather case, rectangular, with outer protective pigskin cover, opening to reveal a fitted interior with three lift-out trays containing numerous vanity utensils, including five slice cut jars/bottles and covers, pair of hair brushes, pair of clothes brushes, hand mirror, double-ended spoon, shoe horn, glove stretchers, manicure items and a curling tongs and heater box, the case (excluding the cover) 46cm wide; and A Leather and Gilt Metal Mounted Calling Card Case (2) This case displays significant original use. Some of the bottle caps are dented. Some small chips amongst the glassware. One rectangular box missing. Two vacant recesses on the mirror tray. The smallest of the lift-out trays has split at the angles and is quite scruffy, heavily worn on the green velvet surface lining material. Comb recess is empty. The largest of the glass trinket boxes has a massive chunk missing out of one angle. The hinges on the heater box are damaged. The bristles on the brushes are slightly outward pointing and very worn. Twenty-eight silver mounted items in total, leaving three steel pairs of scissors. The cover of the case is very heavily worn and damaged, and the straps have broken off. 050213

A Silver Deck Watch, signed Henderson Greenwich Time, Buren, 1927, 3.5 day duration lever movement signed and numbered 2622975, enamel dial with Roman numerals, seconds, case with convention mark 925 for silver and London import mark 1927, numbered 1582010, 59mm wide, in a mahogany box 29.01.13, Case with surface scratches, dial with a hairline crack at 4 and a chip to the dial edge at 8, glass with some minor scratches and small chips, movement in going order, contained in a later made mahogany box. ivorian circular plaque has come off on the top of the box.
A Victorian Amethyst and Diamond Bangle, a central oval mixed cut amethyst within yellow double claws, to a foliate motif set throughout with old cut diamonds in white claw and collet settings, to a yellow trifurcated half hinged bangle, total estimated diamond weight 1.25 carat approximately The bangle is in good condition generally. Some of the diamond settings are a little worn. It fastens with a tongue and box clasp and features a safety chain. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion would test as silver and gold. The amethyst measures 22.29mm x 17.03mm x 9.09mm = 16 carat approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 24.8 grams. A modern silver pin dish of stylised petal leaf form (Birmingham 1972), together with a silver dressing table box, the hinged lid with pie crust edge and striped etching opening to reveal a gilt-washed interior on lid and cushion lined base, raised on three hoof feet, together with a silver mounted cut glass dressing table bottle, inscribed "Ivan" to top and a further Continental dressing table jar, the lid embossed with rural scene with shepherdess and musician, stamped "800" and engraved "Ivan"
