Great Western Railway 150th Anniversary Celebrations Boxed Medal Set by the Royal Mint. Issued in 1985, this set is of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallions, one of only 25 issued as a full set as the accompanying leaflet shows. The gold Medallion weighs 195 grams and is 9ct, the silver Medallion weighs 150 grams and is .925 silver. Housed in a leatherette box with logo on top lid. In excellent condition throughout although the silver medallion is slightly tarnished.

Cartier: A silver and 14ct bi-colour gold box with hinged cover, 1930s, engine turned in an Art Deco design, the two ends in plain Royal blue enamel, stamped Cartier, Sterling 14k, approx 6cm x 8cm x 1.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition, no enamel damage. A couple of very minor dings to cover and base.
A GOOD SET OF TEN CHINESE SILVER BOWLS BY LUEN HING OF SHANGHAI, circa 1910, the silver weighing 1Kg in total, the ten bowls with seven fitted glass liners and a fitted rectangular box, each bowl with a pierced design of two dragons disputing a flaming pearl, each bowl with maker’s marks and nine bowls also with a ‘90’ mark, each bowl 3.7in diameter & 2.1in high.
A GROUP OF THREE MID-20TH CENTURY CHINESE SILVER ITEMS, weighing 530gm in total, each with an engraved presentation inscription and with dragon decoration, comprising a rectangular tray with rounded handles, a spoon tray with an unusual ingot-form finial, and a wood lined box with hinged cover, the tray dated December 1947, the underside of the spoon tray with an impressed ‘SILVER’ mark, the tray 11.8in wide including handles x 5.25in, the spoon tray 4.8in x 3.2in, the box 3.4in x 2.8in x 1.6in high. A coromandel wood vanity box, with fitted interior and silver mounted jars, initialled, bears a plaque, C Asprey Manufacturer 166 Bond Street, 30.5 cm Condition report Report by NG Losses to brass stringing and small patches of veneer to exterior. Cover with large split from one side to the other and crossing at inlaid brass name plate, inscribed Edith, other small cracks also. Interior: the velvet inset to cover with silvered closing clasp present but detached therefore will not hold leather mounted top closed. Eight of silver covers bear matching monogram (EGM), six of these hallmarked London 1856, two bearing no hallmark, the other matched, unhallmarked, missing glass base, hallmarked London 1865. Interior lacks manicure set. Two divisions to row of five bottles broken but present. Drawer empty. Asprey brass plaque inset between two hinges.
