dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Smooth, iron skull, brass crest carved with floral motifs in bass-relief on sides, a lion's head on the front part, a medallion with crowned monogram 'U' at the base; black fur with iron cross in the center, hemmed in brass, leather chin-strap, covered with scales, decorated in bass-relief, a fabric cockade on the left side and its aigrette with gilded, brass base, shaped as a grenade with silver Savoy cross and upper part in gilded thread. Light-brown, leather internal part. In its wooden case. Together with a cartridge box with bandoleer, with silver, stamped mounts and escutcheon with monogram 'U' for Umberto I. height 29 cm.
