With the stewardship of Henry William Dee, the firm were well known for the excellent quality of their designs and workmanship. Dee's have long attracted the attention of collectors and connoisseurs of unusual silver novelties and the firm regularly produced pieces for Garrard's and Asprey's of London. An enamelled silver-gilt mounted sword produced by Dee's is currently in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum.
