A pair of late 19th century cut steel shoe buckles, the oval buckles set with facetted cut steel, the backs with sprung release attachments, in an associated box Provenance: By direct descent from Lady Enid Doreen Scudamore-Stanhope Browne (1899-1985), daughter of The Hon. Evelyn Theodore Scudamore-Stanhope and Julia Dasha Potter. Condition Report: The settings are not silver, the centres have been filled in with a thick black resin, there is a couple of patches to rust to the buckles.
