We are unable to confirm as to whether they are original 70's figures but the boxes do not mention 40th Anniversary anywhere. ACTION MAN ACTION SOLDIER: contains blond figure dressed in desert uniform and kepi, with binoculars. Non grip fingers. Good used condition. Box in good order. ACTION MAN ADVENTURER: contains sailor figure dressed in blue uniform, life jacket, binoculars, HMS Fearless hat. Grip fingers, missing. Box in good order. ACTION MAN SOLDIER: contains soldier figure in green uniform, German helmet. Good used condition. Box in good order.
Victorian Officers' blue cloth Infantry helmet of The South Staffordshire Regiment, with gilt brass helmet plate, original lining, name in ink on lining - H. Christie, together with original paper label to interior and stamped - Oater & Co., 58 Pall Mall, with original chin chains in original metal tin CONDITION REPORT The gilt on the helmet plate and fittings are in superb order and are very bright. The chin chains have some minor verdigris damage. The plate is original and there are no extra holes. There is one small area of moth damage by the brim and the spike is very slightly bent - overall a lovely example

19th CENTURY SILVER BELL, modelled as Pickelhaub German helmet by Samuel Walton Smith, hall marked: Birmingham 1890, overall pierced with repousse scrolling and floral decoration. CONDITION REPORT: In working order, a little dirty, grubby, ring turning mechanism slightly wonky, no obvious splits to silver.

CONDITION REPORT: Minor blemishes to glazes and wear to paint in places but no obvious damage or restoration.

WESTON' R.W.F 1922 All items from Sgt Weston Parachute Regt. World War Two 1st Pattern Denison Para smock, 1942 dated. World War Two MKII steel helmet 1941 dated (no liner) World War Two British binoculars 1941, World War Two German Walther P38 pistol holster, maker 'LYO' with RAD cap badge taped to it. World War Two British kit bag named to 'Sgt Weston' Medals: 39/45 Star; Defence; War Medal General Service Medals to Guardsman R.W. Masefield Grenadier Guards Sgt S. Weston was the vendor's father. In 1921 he joined the army underage at 17 and took his eldest brother's name, Robert Handel Weston. Despite being English, he joined the Royal Welsh Fusiliers (for which the regiment constantly teased him). When asked why he joined the Royal Welsh Fusiliers his response was "It's the only regiment leaving the country". During WWII he was promoted to Sergeant and joined the 2nd Independent Paratrooper regiment. During the landings at Taranto, Italy, the amphibious landing craft that he was on hit a mine. Most of the men perished or drowned but Sgt S Weston survived by swimming to shore. The German Nazi pistol holder was taken from a German Officer than Sgt S Weston took prisoner during the Battle of Monte Cassino in 1944.
†Anglo Zulu War, Rorke’s Drift 22.1.79, an old framed display of battlefield relics comprising 4 cartridge cases, 6 bullets, 1 boot plate, 3 buttons, 3 clips, 1 buckle, 1 metal plate (Soldier Room No 5), 1 helmet boss etc. A similar frame was sold in the David Smith Collection of Zulu and S African weapons and artefacts auction of 22nd January 2014 and realised 4,000. We hasten to say that excavating Zulu battlegrounds is forbidden today.
