Helmet has single German army (heer) eagle decal to the side, which is approximately 80% present. Interior of the helmet has its original leather liner but in our opinion has been fitted with an excellent quality reproduction chinstrap. Shell is stamped ‘NS62’ and batch number ‘D264’. Good example overall.

UNTOUCHED WWII GERMAN M-40 DOUBLE DECAL STEEL COMBAT HELMET, a superb untouched as found example of a M-40 pattern steel combat helmet which has the original combat paint finish. The helmet has the original German army and national tri-colour decals. Helmet retains the original leather liner which is dusty and dry. Also has the original leather chinstrap. Shell stampings are there but not clearly visible. The helmet has never been touched since brought home as a souvenir from WW2 by a American veteran, if you are looking for an un-messed with helmet, this is the one for you.

WWII GERMAN LUFTWAFFE M-42 STEEL COMBAT HELMET, good example of a standard M-42 steel combat helmet with a dark black painted combat finish to the exterior of the shell. Helmet is complete with the original 2nd pattern Luftwaffe decal, approximately 75% present. Complete with the original brown leather chinstrap and its original tan leather liner. Remains of the original owners name inked to the liner. Unclear makers stamp but size mark 64 still visible, batch number appears to be ‘4037’. Some surface rusting to the exterior of the shell, small area of damage to the original chinstrap.

WWII GERMAN WAFFEN-SS M-40 STEEL COMBAT HELMET, superb ‘out of the woodwork’ single decal Waffen-SS steel combat helmet which retains much of the original dark combat paint finish to the exterior and interior of the shell. Helmet is a M-40 pattern shell. The helmet retains over 90% of the original Waffen-SS runes decal still present. The helmet shell also has a indentation from either a bullet or shrapnel to the rear side of the shell, but this has only dented and not pierced the shell. Helmet retains its original leather liner system, however this shows some dryness and some small sections are now missing or detached from the main body of the liner. Original owners name inked to the liner. Shell is stamped lightly ‘Q66’ and ‘1759’. Remains of the leather chinstrap.

WWII GERMAN KRIEGSMARINE (NAVY) M-40 STEEL COMBAT HELMET, superb untouched as found example of a M-40 Kriegsmarine issue steel combat helmet which retains much of its original field grey combat paint finish to the shell, some surface rusting which adds to its character. Helmet is complete with the original Kriegsmarine golden eagle decal which is approximately 90% present. Helmet retains its original but well worn liner system which has some dryness and damage to some of the tongues. Shell is stamped ‘ET66’ and ‘Co 178’ to the rear skirt. Good untouched original Kriegsmarine helmet.

Complete with its original subdued Luftwaffe eagle decal, about 85% present. Interior retains its original brown leather liner and original leather chinstrap. The shell is stamped to the rear ‘NS6-’ (last digit not clear) and ‘5219’. Generally a good example.

(2)  Condition Report Potential loss to top of one's hat maybe a casting mark, as well as a hole to the base and screw to the back that may have held further pieces. Finger missing on left hand. Fraying to wire wrap on second sword as well as gilt loss to the blade with in the sheathe. Surface wear throughout, Gilt mostly absent to base.To the other; breakage to sword handle, part missing, further section glued. White mark under right (from viewers perspective) pauldron appears removable. Mark to top of helmet as with first. Surface wear throughout.
