The arms of the cross bearing honours, beneath the bottom arm, a scroll inscribed ‘Celer et Audax'. Two replacement loops to reverse VGC (As KK 196A)

To the voided centre, within a circlet inscribed "Salus Populi Suprema Lex", a strung bugle, 14 between the cords. Three loops to reverse. VGC Raised as 23rd Middlesex in 1859 and renumbered 14th Middlesex in 1880

A crowned eight pointed star with laurel sprays and central circle, "3rd or Royal Westminster Middlesex", in the centre on a ground of yellow velvet a strung bugle horn over a shield, per pale, Westminster and Middlesex. across the base of the laurels a scroll, "Mediterranean".
