A large and impressive silver medallion, 71mm, 140cms by Anton Scharff (1845-1903) and Joseph Tautenhahn (1837-1911) for the Liberation of Vienna's 200th Anniversary (Ag) 1883 – Vienna. In Dankbarer Erinnerung An Vertheidigung Und Entsatz. Die Stadt Wien XII SEPT MDCCCLXXXIII (‘In Grateful remembrance for the defence and liberation of the city of Vienna on September 12, 1883’). With the coat of arms of Vienna in the centre surrounded by five portraits in low relief of the 1683 Liberation leaders: Emperor Leopold I, John III Sobieski, Charles of Lorraine, Rüdiger Starhemberg and Andreas von Liebenberg, each surrounded by weapons. The reverse VRBS PRO ORBE (‘A city in the world’) MDCLXXXIII and J. Tautenhahn. Jupiter wearing a helmet decorated with a cross, holding a spear in right hand and shield in left hand, with a Turkish soldier lying under Jupiter's feet and fallen shield decorated with half-moon and weapons. The messenger Mercury sits to Jupiter's right holding a roll. The crowned god Juno sits to Jupiter's left holding a shield decorated with the coat of arms of Vienna.

A Nazi German III Reich officers sword 77cm single edged single fullered chromed blade with armour's mark of a helmet and initials WK, with gilt metal guard decorated with an eagle and swastika, black plastic grips with twist wire decoration, complete with black painted metal scabbard, also with this lot a certificate from the Lanes Armory stating this is a third Reich officers sword by Wayersberg & Kirschbaum. Michael Schumacher-signed large racing helmet design poster,the signature dated 2013, a company promotional edition titled SCHUBERTH - HEAD PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY and featuring his marker pen signature between images of him with his Mercedes F1 car and his 2009 Honda German Superbike, mounted, framed & glazed, 97 by 72cm. Michael Schumacher helped the Schuberth company develop the first lightweight carbon-fibre helmets that are now commonly used throughout motorsport. Ironically this technology helped save Felipe Massa from severe head injuries when hit by flying debris in practice for the Austrian GP in 2009, an episode which subsequently prompted Michael's F1 comeback.
