300 (2006) - Captain's (Vincent Regan) Stunt ''Phase 3'' CostumeCaptain's (Vincent Regan) stunt "Phase 3" costume from Zack Snyder's historical action film 300. Captain wore his costume throughout the film as he fought alongside Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and the rest of the Spartans against the Persian army. The costume consists of a rubber helmet lined with leather (labelled "CAPT stage 3"); a red Hessian cape with brown leather harness straps, an oval fibreglass front clasp and an interior suede shoulder structure (labelled "Captain Stunt 42 Phase 3"); a brown leather codpiece ( size "M"); leather-lined rubber bracers (labelled "#105 Captain Stunt Phase 3"); resin greaves featuring a leather-lined and foam padded knee cover (labelled "#105 Captain Stunt Phase 3"). Each piece of armour has been finished to resemble worked bronze, whilst the costume exhibits intentional distressing to look battle-scarred with cuts, tarnishing, and applied dirt and stage blood. Necromonger Vaako wore one suit of armour as a favoured Commander before donning another suit when he assumed the role of General Commander. This lot consists of a fibreglass General Commander helmet; a pair of urethane General Commander pauldrons; a urethane General Commander cuirass; a pair of leatherette Commander gauntlets; a lycra General Commander bodysuit with attached urethane appliances; a leatherette General Commander codpiece; a pair of leatherette General Commander boots; and a metal-covered wood staff with a foam blade. The armour is internally marked "Vaako," "General Vaako," "L," "R," "IIE," "#3," and "345," and painted to resemble metal with production-applied distressing throughout. EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS (2014) - Moses' (Christian Bale) Battle HelmetMoses' (Christian Bale) battle helmet from Ridley Scott's Biblical epic Exodus: Gods and Kings. Moses wore his helmet during the film's early sequences in which he fought the Hittites alongside Ramses II (Joel Edgerton).The helmet is made of cast fibreglass painted royal blue with a fine-honed marbled finish. A gold-coloured falcon head protrudes from the front of the helmet, connecting via a central plate to an ornate, embossed, gold-coloured depiction of Horus, the falcon-headed Ancient Egyptian god, at the rear. Horus is presented with his wings splayed and features intricately detailed plumage. The helmet is finished with a gold-coloured rim and a foam-padded black suede inlay. A label inside reads "Moses". The lot has been intentionally distressed for the production but remains in very good condition. Emperor Ming's (Max von Sydow) royal guards wore their costumes throughout the film, most notably when Flash (Sam J. Jones) and his companions first entered Ming's palace, and later during Ming and Dale's (Melody Anderson) wedding.The costume comprises a fibreglass helmet, breastplate, pauldrons and back armour; a red quilted jacket; a pair of bracers; a pair of matching red trousers featuring faux-fur detailing; decorative loin belt plates; and a pair of greaves. The fibreglass armour components are finished in gold-coloured paint with red detailing, and feature small leather straps and buckles.
