Miniature Hampshire Carabiniers Officers 1871 Dress Helmet, excellent example of a miniature of an officers dress helmet constructed in the same way as the larger original issues. Nice patina to the body of the helmet, gilt metal helmet plate, central band, rosette side bosses and velvet backed linked chinstrap. Cruciform spike base and fluted spike. Interior with white leather sweatband and crimson lining. Excellent item for any headdress collector. Late Rod Flood collection.
